SHOOTING START FOR "NEO NUGGETS"

Filming has begun on “NEO NUGGETS”, the sequel to the successful film “PULLED PORK” starring Paul Pizzera and Otto Jaus

Vienna, February 12, 2025 – Fans of the hit movie PULLED PORK have something to look forward to! Filming of the sequel, titled NEO NUGGETS, began on February 11, 2025, and will continue until March 20, 2025.

In NEO NUGGETS, Paul Pizzera and Otto Jaus return to the big screen as the unlikely brothers Flo and Eddi. Together with their long-lost sister Samira (played by Gizem Emre), they get caught up in a dangerous adventure, they uncover a conspiracy masterminded by a radical group centered around the charismatic leader Thilo Mannheim (Benno Fürmann). Their goal is to recover the legendary “Treasure of Lake Toplitz.” But the search for the treasure turns out to be much more than an underwater heist and leads to a global secret in the world of the secret services.

With NEO NUGGETS, Samsara Filmproduction presents an action-packed spy comedy that is fast-paced, humorous and full of surprises. Following the success of PULLED PORK, director Andreas Schmied ups the ante and sends Paul Pizzera and Otto Jaus on their most dangerous – and chaotic – mission yet.

Between secret services, ruthless string-pullers and a hunt for a legendary treasure, the two friends get caught in a web of lies, conspiracies and wild chases. With a star-studded cast, including Benno Fürmann, Gizem Emre, Silvia Schneider and Melissa Naschenweng, NEO NUGGETS combines fast-paced action with razor-sharp dialogue and a healthy dose of Austrian charm.

Spectacular stunts, diving scenes in the legendary Lake Toplitz and a story in which nothing is as it seems. NEO NUGGETS promises cinematic entertainment at the highest level!

The filming of NEO NUGGETS takes place at impressive locations in Vienna, Styria and Lower Austria, which give the story an authentic and exciting backdrop. The film is being co-produced with Kodachrome GmbH & Co KG and is generously funded by ÖFI, ÖFI+, ORF, FFW and Cinestyria.

Constantin Film Austria is scheduled to release NEO NUGGETS in Austrian cinemas in OCTOBER 2025.
